The Mortal Instruments series is set in modern New York: City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, City of Fallen Angels, City of Lost Souls, and City of Heavenly Fire. The prequels to the Mortal Instruments series are called The Infernal Devices (Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince, and Clockwork Princess). The last book of the Infernal Devices, Clockwork Princess, will be released March 19, 2013.
